ActionRail Terms of Use
Last updated: July 19, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to the ActionRail website, documentation, public beta Console, and Cloud early-access waitlist (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by ToolJet Solutions, Inc. ("ToolJet", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the ActionRail Privacy Notice.
If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Open-source software
ActionRail source code is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. That license, not these Terms, governs your copying, modification, and distribution of the licensed source code. These Terms govern the website, documentation, hosted endpoints, waitlist, and other Services.
Public beta
ActionRail is currently a public beta. Features, interfaces, documentation, and availability may change before version 1.0. You are responsible for testing ActionRail in your environment, reviewing rules and Source behavior, monitoring decisions, and deciding whether and how to use it for production actions. Early-access registration does not guarantee admission, timing, pricing, capacity, or continued availability of ActionRail Cloud.
Permitted use
You may use the Services only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You must not:
- interfere with, overload, probe, or circumvent the security or operation of the Services;
- submit malicious code, unlawful content, or information you do not have the right to provide;
- use automated means to abuse forms or public endpoints;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- use ToolJet or ActionRail names, marks, or branding in a way that implies an endorsement or relationship we have not authorized; or
- use the Services to build or operate systems where failure could reasonably cause death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage.
Your information and feedback
You retain rights in information you submit. You give ToolJet permission to process that information as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services, as described in the Privacy Notice.
If you provide product ideas or feedback, you permit ToolJet to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not submit confidential information as feedback.
Documentation and third-party services
We aim to keep documentation accurate, but it may contain errors or become outdated during the beta. The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party software and services. Their terms and policies govern your use of them, and ToolJet is not responsible for third-party services.
Ownership
Except for open-source software governed by its stated license and content owned by others, ToolJet and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, documentation, designs, and the ToolJet and ActionRail names and marks. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms or an applicable open-source license.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TOOLJET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
ActionRail assists with runtime decisions but does not replace your security, authorization, testing, monitoring, legal, or operational controls. You remain responsible for actions performed by your agents, applications, users, and connected systems.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLJET AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLJET'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TOOLJET FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to hosted Services when reasonably needed to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms as ActionRail develops. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
